Foreign Policy – America First
America must stop fighting endless wars and writing blank checks to foreign governments. For decades, the United States has funneled massive military funding and weapons transfers to Israel—at least $21.7 billion since October 2023 alone, on top of billions in previous years—while Nevada families struggle with unmet needs at home. These transfers have directly fueled a conflict that has claimed tens of thousands of Palestinian lives in Gaza.
I oppose Zionism and the apartheid system it sustains. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have documented Israel’s systematic oppression of Palestinians through discrimination, land confiscation, segregated legal systems, and crimes against humanity that meet the legal definition of apartheid.
I call for the end of Israel. Palestine must be restored to its 1948 borders.
AIPAC’s grip on Congress must be broken. American resources belong at home—fixing Nevada’s roads, protecting our communities, and putting our families first, not propping up any foreign interest.
Mark Amodei has consistently voted for large Israel funding packages, including H.R. 8034 in 2024. Northern Nevada deserves a representative who chooses America over foreign lobbies.
Healthcare
The United States has the most expensive healthcare system in the world yet delivers the worst outcomes among high-income nations: life expectancy around 78.8 years (Cuba achieves similar or better at ~79 years with universal preventive care despite far fewer resources), infant mortality about 5.6 per 1,000 births (higher than OECD averages), and highest maternal mortality.
Our system profits from illness and incentivizes keeping people sick and dependent. As long as disease generates revenue, health suffers.
We need true universal healthcare: free at the point of service for every American. No medical bankruptcies, no crippling debt, no insurance denials, no restrictive networks, no copays, no deductibles, no premiums. Treatment based solely on medical need, never profit.
Environmental Pollution
Fossil fuels and industry release dangerous pollutants: volatile organic compounds (VOCs) causing smog and cancer risks, nitrogen oxides (NOx) leading to acid rain and respiratory disease, and particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) linked to heart attacks, asthma, and premature deaths. Nevada suffers from these threats to clean air and water.
End all Big Oil subsidies, hold corporate polluters accountable, and invest in truly clean solutions: large-scale stationary battery storage for reliable renewable integration, plus advanced nuclear like Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors (LFTR) for safe, waste-minimizing baseload power and Nevada energy jobs.
Immigration and Borders
Secure the border and enforce laws immediately. Stop visa overstays and H-1B abuses that depress wages for American workers. Support legal, merit-based immigration that benefits Nevada—no illegal exploitation, no open-border chaos fueling drugs and trafficking.
Economy and Workers
Nevada workers and families first. Cut job-killing regulations and taxes on small businesses, protect American jobs from unfair trade, and reject corporate bailouts. Support real worker protections and unions fighting for labor, not politicians. Zero tolerance for divided loyalties—I take no money from foreign lobbies or special interests.
Surveillance and Civil Liberties
Both parties have expanded mass surveillance in the name of security while eroding privacy and free speech. End warrantless data collection, repeal Patriot Act abuses, and stop tech giants from censoring dissent at government request. Americans deserve freedom from constant monitoring.
Infrastructure and Domestic Priorities
Our roads, bridges, and water systems crumble while billions go overseas. Redirect those funds home: rebuild Nevada infrastructure, address homelessness through housing and mental health support, and invest in American communities instead of foreign conflicts. No more decay from misplaced priorities.
Accountability and Transparency
Representatives must show up—missing 4% of votes (323 since 2011) is unacceptable. Commit to full attendance and monthly town halls.
Demand release of Epstein files and transparency on child trafficking networks. Reject foreign lobby and defense contractor influence. Voters over special interests.
