Mark Amodei has occupied the NV-2 seat since 2011, but his record is one of absence, evasion, and loyalty to foreign lobbies over Northern Nevada families.
He has missed 323 votes out of 8,134—a 4% absence rate that doubles the average for representatives. Constituents pay him to show up; he doesn’t.
Amodei hasn’t held an open public town hall in years because, in his own words, he doesn’t want to “get yelled at” or endure personal insults. That is not leadership—that is hiding from the people he claims to represent.
He takes substantial money from AIPAC and defense contractors, then reliably votes to ship billions overseas for Israel, including his yes on H.R. 8034 in 2024, while Nevada’s roads crumble and families drown in medical debt.
Amodei was one of the deciding votes that blocked the release of the Epstein files. He refused to sign Thomas Massie’s discharge petition No. 9, which fell just short of the 218 signatures required to force a floor vote and expose the full truth.
On public lands giveaways, visa abuses that cost American jobs, and other issues that directly affect us, he stays silent or sides with connected insiders.
